Generation AI: Preparing for the Future of Synthetic Intelligence, Media and Reality Itself (Session with The Institute for the Future, IFTF)

Generation AI: Preparing for the Future of Media and Reality Itself

An intimate session about the future of journalism, media, and storytelling in a world where AI is omnipresent, led by Toshi Hoo, Director of the Emerging Media Lab at the Institute for the Future, and hosted by Swissnex in San Francisco.

What impact will the increasing use of AI have on the future of journalism? How will it affect it in general and what are the implications?

This session will explore how generative AI is transforming human and computer communication, collaboration, and connection. In this interactive session, part of our two-week program “Multimedia Lab for Journalists”, we will discuss methods for future planning and gain hands-on experience with advanced AI tools that process language. We will examine their strengths and weaknesses and see how they can enhance human intelligence.

*The session will be followed by a networking lunch*

This event is for a group of journalists from Switzerland and the US. We will explore these questions during an intimate session about the future of journalism, media, and storytelling in a world where AI is omnipresent.

*this event is by invitation only. If you are interested in attending, please reach out to [email protected].
