Applications are now open for the Q1 2027 Startup Camps in Japan, powered by Innosuisse and managed by Swissnex. The program supports two cohorts: food tech and space tech startups looking to validate their market potential and establish a foothold in one of the world’s most advanced and innovative economies.

FOOD TECH STARTUP CAMP

Expand into Japan with our Startup Camp

Japan is one of the world’s largest economies and a country with rich food culture and industries.

The Startup Camp provides Swiss entrepreneurs with:

  • Tailored 1-on-1 support to refine market entry strategies
  • Expert guidance from industry specialists and business mentors
  • Strategic connections with potential partners and key players in the Japanese ecosystem

A Unique Opportunity

This Startup Camp will take place alongside FOODEX (March 9–12) at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo and the Kansai FoodTech Open Programme. Participants will gain access to a high-profile platform to engage with various leaders in the food industry.

  • Location: Japan
  • Duration: Up to one month (typically 10 days), around March 5–15, 2027
  • Focus: Food tech startups expanding into Japan 

SPACE TECH STARTUP CAMP

Japan is one of the world’s leading economies and a global innovator in space technology and exploration.

The Startup Camp provides Swiss entrepreneurs with:

  • Tailored 1-on-1 support to refine market entry strategies
  • Expert guidance from industry specialists and business mentors
  • Strategic connections with potential partners and key players in the Japanese ecosystem

A Unique Opportunity

This Startup Camp will take place alongside SPEXA – Space Business Expo (May 12–14) at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo. Participants will gain access to a high-profile platform to engage with various leaders in the space industry.

Program Details

  • Location: Japan
  • Duration: Up to one month (typically 10 days), around May 7–14, 2027
  • Focus: Space tech startups expanding into Japan

  3. After interest/availability/qualifications are confirmed, we finalize your application
  4. Update/edit and submit the final application
