What happens when science meets spoken word?
Info & ticketsJoin us for the AMR Poetry Slam and Open Mic, a cross-cultural celebration where poetry, performance and science come together to raise awareness about antimicrobial resistance, one of the biggest global health challenges of our time.
Whether you’re a poet, researcher, student or science communicator or you’re just someone interested in AMR and/or poetry, this is your stage to explore themes of health, resistance, resilience and hope through original poetry.
Poetry Slam (Competitive)
Open Mic (Non-competitive)
While the judges tally the results, the stage will stay alive with brief (1–2 minute) performances from non-competing participants.
Feature Poet Performance
A professional poet or performer will close the event with a special set related to the theme of science, health, or resistance.
The winner and two runner-ups will win t-shirts from Adimanav Studios. All participants will receive digital certificates for participation.
