The India Switzerland Social Innovation Camp (INSSINC) is back for its second edition in Bangalore, India. Building on last year’s successfully developed prototypes, EPFL, UNIL, EPFL+ECAL Lab and EPFL Tech4Impact will be conducting a collaborative program for 12 selected students from Switzerland in partnership with swissnex India and SELCO Foundation.
The immersive social innovation workshop will allow the students to work in interdisciplinary teams, mixing engineering, design and social science competencies, to address, by producing a product or service prototype.
The selected students go through an extensive 2 week programme consisting of field visits, ideation of solutions and finally presentation of their developed prototypes to social entrepreneurs. The fundamental objective of the programme is to develop prototypes with real world applications for migrant and underprivileged communities in urban areas through research and innovation.
