Prof. Dr. med Andreas Trojan is a medical oncologist with nearly 35 years of experience in cancer treatment in prominent medical institutions across Switzerland. He is currently a titular professor at the University of Zurich. He is a member of institutions such as European Society for Medical Oncology and the recipient of awards such as the Lohfert Prize Hamburg for developing smartphone apps that help in detection and treatment of cancer. He is the founder of Mobile Health AG that has developed an app named Consilium, a unique patient-centered communication platform for improved self-efficacy and quality of life.

Prof. Dr. Hans Peter Beck is the Head of the Molecular Parasitology-Epidemiology Research Unit at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute where he has been teaching for the past 23 years. A lot of his research have been extensively related to malaria. He is helping the startup Noul, that has developed a rapid malaria diagnosis system, clinically validate the malaria Dx.

Prof. Markus Melloh is an experienced and accomplished Orthopaedic Surgeon and Rheumatologist. He has more than 10 years of experience in the clinical arena and more than 12 years in Swiss and international scientific research with a focus on public health issues and strategic research management. Currently, Markus is the Professor and Chair of Public Health, Associate Dean Research & Development, Director Institute of Health Sciences, Member of the Board of Directors at the School of Health Professions, and Co-Director of the Digital Health Lab, Zurich University of Applied Sciences.

Prof. Dr. Sven Hirsch is a trained physicist, specialised in image processing and physiology, lecturing on complex bio simulation at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). His research group, biomedical simulation at ZHAW, has a strong track record in simulating biological structures using continuum mechanical and individual based techniques. They also apply statistical models and machine learning to medical research questions. Sven is affiliated to the biomedical simulations group at ETH Zurich, that he formerly led.

Prof. Dr. Hans-Florian Zeilhofer is a professor and Head of the Department for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital in Basel. His research includes the use of computer-assisted 3D-methods in the surgery of the facial skull. Additionally, he is the Head of the Hightech Research Center of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, which was an institution established by him. He is closely associated with several healthtech startup companies in Switzerland.

Christian Schneider has a long experience of supporting entrepreneurship and innovation in multicultural environments. After having worked for many years as the Head of the Science and Technology Office at the Swiss Embassy in Australia and Korea, he is currently the Head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Basel where he helps connecting the university with local and international industry. Christian and the University of Basel Innovation team are seeking new partners in India (universities, life science and medtech incubators) to build up world-leading innovation programs for Swiss and Indian startups.

Randy Ramin-Wright is Senior Director, Site and Patient Networks at Clinerion. Randy holds a Master of Science in Physics. He has more than 20 years of experience in consulting, risk management and information management systems implementation applied to the pharmaceuticals, healthcare and beyond.

Dr. Paul C Salins is an internationally acclaimed authority in the specialty of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, having trained and worked across the globe. He also seats as the Chairman of India’s first health care related Technology Business Incubator (TBI) funded by the Government’s Department of Science and Technology.

Deepanwita is responsible for developing the first Life Science Research Park in India and establishing a sustainable innovation and knowledge cluster around a science park through a Public-Private Partnership model. She has deep interest in entrepreneurship, incubation and institution building.

With over 10 years of work experience in the healthcare ecosystem, Anjali Ajaikumar learned the ropes of setting up and running hospitals. She then moved on to strategic growth planning and quality implementation for multiple centres of HCG. Additionally, she is actively involved with two non-profit initiatives: the first being the HCG Foundation which creates awareness, educational programs and raises funds for cancer patients that are financially challenged and the second being the International Human Development & Upliftment Academy.

Dr. Sailesh Mohan is currently a Professor at the Public Health Foundation of India and the Joint Director of the Centre for Chronic Conditions and Injuries (CCCI). He is involved in chronic non-communicable disease (NCD) research, teaching and training. He is also an Honorary Professor at the Deakin University, Australia.

He has built a network of multi-disciplinary experts who share their expertise and experiences with digital health startups in India. He has 20 years of experience working at Healthcare IT Product companies, developing solutions for diverse clients, in various specialities and different geographies.

Dr. S. Balasubramanya has over 20 years of experience in the industry and the scientific – academic environment, working in Sami Labs Ltd., Rishi Herbal Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Padmashree Institute of Management & Sciences. Currently, he is working as Senior Consultant (Biotech) at Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society, Dept. of IT, BT and S&T, Govt. of Karnataka, coordinating various Biotech related schemes and programmes that promote growth of biotech sector in the State.

Samuel Cobbi is the Science Officer in charge of strengthening the relations between Switzerland and Singapore in innovation, research and education. With a multidisciplinary background in Life Sciences and International Relations at the University of St. Gallen, Harvard and Science Po Paris, he has a strong interest in the growing role of technologies in global governance with a focus on Asia.
