Eight Indian startups from the biotech, fintech and sustainability sectors will travel to Switzerland from March 15 to March 21 to gain first-hand exposure to Swiss innovation and entrepreneurship while connecting with key players across academia, industry and investment networks.
This is part of the Market Access Program (MAP) to Switzerland, conducted under the Government of Karnataka’s Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) in partnership with us, and offers Indian startups the opportunity to explore one of the world’s most advanced innovation ecosystems.
The participating startups are:
- Altio AI | Cheeko is an AI-powered learning companion for curious children aged four and above. It’s a smart, voice-activated buddy that answers questions, sparks imagination and makes learning fun—without needing a screen. From helping with homework to explaining “Why is the sky blue?”, Cheeko delivers age-appropriate, educational responses.
- Earth & Organics | Earth & Organics is building a smart refill ecosystem using reusable, IoT-enabled dispensers that let FMCG brands sell liquid products in a circular loop — eliminating single-use waste while ensuring hygiene and convenience. Its integrated hardware, software and logistics create a scalable circular alternative to plastic packaging, with fully automated dispensers suitable for both retail and B2B sales.
- Hycosys | Hycosys is a deep-tech startup pioneering next-generation Micro Gas Turbine (MGT) systems that deliver clean, reliable and efficient backup power. Its hydrogen- and CNG-fuelled turbines address the environmental and operational limitations of diesel generators, offering a low-emission, fuel-flexible and compact solution that integrates seamlessly with renewable and hybrid energy systems. By enabling a smooth transition to hydrogen, Hycosys’ MGTs contribute to global decarbonisation efforts, driving sustainable energy and advancing the shift toward a net-zero future.
- Nanosentrix | Nanosentrix transforms spent coffee residue into biodegradable materials, turning waste into sustainable value. Using advanced processing, it converts coffee waste into eco-friendly products like cups, straws and tableware, reducing landfill burden and plastic dependence while promoting a circular, waste-to-wealth economy.
- Paprap | Paprap is a sustainability-driven startup developing next-generation paper packaging from upcycled corrugated cartons. Its flexible wrap replaces traditional boxes, eliminates empty parcel space and reduces material use, dunnage and carbon emissions. Paprap enables e-commerce and logistics companies to adopt circular, low-carbon packaging systems and build climate-resilient supply chains.
- Quantum Biosciences | Quantum Biosciences is a deep-tech startup developing quantum-sensing–based diagnostics for early detection of cellular and molecular stress in medical and industrial applications. Its flagship Quantum Sensing Platform uses NV-centre nanodiamonds to detect early molecular markers of radiation-induced injury, providing real-time, AI-driven radiotoxicity risk assessments for oncology and radiotherapy. The platform integrates AI/ML-driven in-silico simulations and quantum sensing hardware to produce a unique Radiotoxicity Risk Score (RTRS) for clinicians.
- Tarisa Technologies | Tarisa Technologies’ AI-powered platform enables underwriters to assess the financial health and creditworthiness of small and medium businesses. Designed for banking and financial institutions, it uses explainable AI to ensure regulatory compliance and accurately determine default probability, helping lenders price risk appropriately rather than deny finance. The solution is offered as a subscription-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) available on monthly or annual plans.
- FlaskAI | Research scientists spend most of their time in the lab, leaving them with the daunting task of organising and annotating data after long sessions. FlaskAI automates the process of streamlining data organisation, saving valuable time and reducing the costs of repeated experiments. More than just storing R&D data, FlaskAI transforms it into an AI-powered knowledge base that enables quick data extraction, insight generation and seamless sharing across teams and external partners. Designed for chemistry R&D organisations, corporate labs, research institutes and contract research organisations (CROs), FlaskAI accelerates research and collaboration through intelligent knowledge management.
