During the visit, Swissnex in China exchanged on how to support their alumni community abroad and organised a reception to facilitate exchanges with their alumni community here in China.
This special reception with University of Zurich alumni is part of our ongoing effort to involve the Swiss alumni community and keep them connected and engaged. In addition to this event, we host two annual gatherings in Beijing and Shanghai, which serve as key opportunities for alumni to reconnect, share experiences, and explore new collaborations.
We maintain close relationships with Swiss universities, regularly engaging with them to strengthen our partnerships in research and education. This year, we have collaborated on several exciting projects, including:
- Cosmos Archaeology with EPFL: An exhibtion at the Shanghai Astronomy Museum that brings the vastness of astrophysics data into tangible reality.
- China Onboarding with swissuniversities: Webinars for Swiss students getting ready for an exchange program to receive valuable tips and advice on how to prepare for their stay in China.
- Tech&Ethics program: A curated program for Swiss researchers to enhance Switzerland’s understanding in AI, ethics and governance in China.
These projects are just a few examples of how we are working closely with Swiss universities and Chinese partners to advance knowledge and innovation. We are grateful to our alumni for their continued support and engagement.
