Switzerland’s innovation strength rests on more than great ideas. How do design, research and engineering combine to create products that succeed globally—and what sustains that advantage?
Thilo Brunner, Chief Design Officer at On, delivers the opening keynote, sharing insights from On’s journey from Swiss start-up to global sportswear brand, with a direct perspective on translating creative ambition and technical innovation into international success.
He is joined by Prof. David Atienza from EPFL and AATB, the art and robotics practice founded by Andrea Anner and Thibault Brevet, whose work explores robotics beyond industrial production.
Together they examine the connections between research, industry and design that help Switzerland maintain its edge, and how collaboration with Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area can support testing, scaling and market entry.
Moderated by Gabriella Montandon, SwissCham Board Member, this lunch talk invites business leaders, researchers and designers to exchange perspectives on turning ideas into impact.
