Web Summit Rio will join the roster of international events organized by Web Summit, taking to the world stage alongside Web Summit in Lisbon, Collision in Toronto, and RISE in Hong Kong. Web Summit Rio will be the largest tech event in Brazil, gathering more than 15,000 people at Riocentro (1-4 May 2023). Famous speakers eager to share expertise, unparalleled networking opportunities with entrepreneurs, and proprietary software to maximize your experience.

For this unique opportunity, Swissnex has mobilized all resources to bring high-level startups under the roof of the swisstech Pavilion and meet Latin America’s most prominent players and unlock a new gigantic market.

THE SWISSTECH

The swisstech campaign is a private-public initiative supported by Presence Switzerland, Innosuisse, the Swissnex network, digitalswitzerland, and Switzerland Global Enterprise.

The campaign aims to raise Switzerland’s profile as a world-leading innovative location for business and to increase the visibility of its DeepTech and other state-of-the-art companies, as well as its research excellence abroad.

At the Web Summit Rio 2023, swisstech will be presented by Swissnex in Brazil, together with 7 startups.

Nym’s product Mixnet is a privacy layer that can be used by end users via their app NymConnect or integrated with existing applications and systems to improve privacy and security. The Mixnet is run by a decentralized global community of oerators rewarded with an NYM token, and early adopters are already using it.

DAAV, as an EPFL spin-off, is on a mission to enhance the quality of life for people with reduced mobility on the go. At DAAV, they provide autonomous robotic wheelchair services for passengers with reduced mobility in the airports. They already have three prototypes piloted at Zurich Airport with the collaboration of Airline Assistance Switzerland.
